  • Someone asked:
Would you ever like to move back to Arizona?
    • lifeline48 replied:
I would love to-I think! I do love having seasons and that’s just something you don’t get in AZ, but you never know where life will take you. Who knows, maybe we’ll be a part of the bird gang one day?!
  • Someone asked:
I live in West Michigan like you. My husband has to travel a lot out of town on business. Do you know of any places locally where I could work out in a safe environment?
    • lifeline48 replied:
Hi! Reach out to me! I love to meet new people here 🙂 I work out at MVP because of the childcare. If you have kids I highly suggest it! My husband and I own a sports performance gym behind Dutch village called ETS Elite. I can give you more details about that if you’d like!
  • Someone asked:
What’s your secret to great quads?! I’ve tried everything and can’t get quads 🙁
    • lifeline48 replied:
I wish there was some magical secret I could give you but unfortunately I don’t. I’ve always had large quads and I think it has to do with 1: genetics and 2: the types of sports I’ve always done. I was a basketball player before I started rowing. As for right now as an adult that is no longer an “athlete”, I do lots of body weight stuff like lunges, squats & burpees. Step ups are great too! I also really like to run, so I think that helps too! I warm up everyday for 30 min on the stair climber as well.
  • Someone asked:
If you were given the option to choose any NFL football team for your family to be a part of which team would you choose and why?
    • lifeline48 replied:
I'm not sure to be honest! I truly just want him to go to a team that is a great fit for him and where he will be happy. I think there's less pressure on the location just because we do have our home base here in Michigan, so wherever he is playing isn't permanent. Somewhere warm is always appreciated though 🙂
  • Someone asked:
    Where do you shop?
    • lifeline48 replied:
I mostly shop online just because I don't have mall near me in MI. Revolve, Vici Dolls & Nordstrom are my go tos!
  • Someone asked:
Alright.. I just asked the question before I read your All is Fair post.. whops! But now, my questions are, did you move with him when he went to training camps? What were those first few months like? (May-August). How did this affect your career? I am just finishing my degree and hesitant to apply for jobs because of all of this! Thank you again!
    • lifeline48 replied:
So, when he first got into the NFL we had JUST gotten engaged. Like within a week. I was finishing up college that summer and then made my move to MN to be with him. It's very difficult to decide how to go on with your own life (especially professionally) because theres so many things that can happen with your man's career. I would suggest to make the move once final roster is out. I know that's a long time to wait too, but unfortunately it's one of those careers that you can't really put all of your eggs in one basket! It will all work out and be just fine, just be patient and know that the time he is in camp is brutal. It's hard on him mentally and physically and you just have to let him come to you with info when he's ready to.
  • Someone asked:
Hi Mckenzie! I am interested to hear how the process went for you and your husband as he went into the NFL. I am a current girlfriend and my boyfriend is a free agent at the moment and I am secretly anxious about his journey! I am always o the line if I should avoid bringing up talking about the future for him or just be patient. How did you adjust? Were you married at the time? Thank you so much!
    • lifeline48 replied:
I see your other question as a follow up to this, so I will answer it all together!
  • Someone asked:
This is a two-part question... What made you and your family want to settle down in Holland? And what drove you guys to want to become business owners?
    • lifeline48 replied:
We settled in Holland because my husband is from Michigan and his whole family lives here, but on the East side. We knew we wanted to be on the west side near the beaches, so we just started looking and stumbled upon this house in Holland. The rest is history now! Zach is very passionate about ETS and his trainer, Ryan Englebert. He knew that Michigan could benefit greatly from having an ETS here so we teamed up with Ryan & his wide Heidi to make that happen.
  • Someone asked:
What are some of your hobbies besides writing?
    • lifeline48 replied:
I love to work out & I hate to admit this BUT I'm totally a reality tv junkie. You name it, I watch it. I also really love crafting. It's super fun & relaxing for me.
  • Someone asked:
Are you and Zach going to have any more babies? With those genes, I hope you will!!
    • lifeline48 replied:
Yes! God willing, of course! We hope to get pregnant again at some point this year.
